well we were safe from all of the darkness sane after all that we had started tame and still could not be broken faith was never lost or ever stolen we’d shoot into the stars and wouldn’t lose it and we would take our time as we would wander stray as far out as we wanted to ooo we’d lose sight forget time we’d lose sight forget the time fade in and out fade in and out of focus say goodnight say goodnight to all your problems

is this the way the world is gonna be like now? I don't know how we're ever gonna make it out feels like we're running around in a satire fire designed by a ticking time bomb that's ready to blow gotta figure it out (‘nough had enough had enough) with my back on the wall (up add it up add it up) gotta figure it out with my hands on my mouth gotta figure it out when my mind's at a loss gotta figure it out hey whatcha thinking now? Mr. Dignified I can't identify (you were running it out) this is not the time not the time to fuck around you've gotta face it don't be afraid to take it you've gotta make it with your heart and mind you can change your mind in a matter of time you say we don't need to ever worry cuz you've got everything figured out well that's what scares me I just can't see how this can be real (you can take a doubt turn it inside out let it drain all night hanging upside down when it all dries out how do you feel now can you let it slide or need another round?) this is not the time not the time to fuck around I can't identify with that state of mind I can't identify whoa no I can't identify with your state of mind Mr dignified Whoa nooo (no not done no I’m not done) (spill it all out now)

Red Flags 04:19
red flags were everywhere but I tried not to see tried not to see and the stars kept telling me hey, you’re alone you’re a shadow but i tried not to see not to feel i was a silent scream waiting for the sun a certain point came along where it all started to scatter it didn’t matter anymore and all the war paint thinned out and i started to see and to feel you’d been fooling me i caught a glimpse of the sun red flags run from the scene red flags blows my mind that you still can’t see it

you can’t look back when your head is stuck you can’t fall back on what you couldn’t solve we don’t buy your complaints when they’re not met with change like a fool spreading blame all around hang on hang on hang on hang on you can’t take back a past result you can’t protect from every fall we deny all the claims that were stored on our frames by a fool spreading blame all around hang on hang on hang on hang on shoulda known shoulda known you can’t look back when your head is stuck you can’t fall back on what you couldn’t solve you can’t take back a past result have to reject that it’s all your fault you can’t look back

about

PARTS ON DISPLAY marks H&HV's fourth full-length album.

The album consists of eight tracks with a total running time just shy of 26 minutes. Half of the songs were started back in 2008 (tracks 1, 2, 4, 8). A couple of them were supposed to make it onto our third record which came out in 2009, but they didn’t cross the finish line in time.

Following a 5-year hiatus, we came back together in early 2016 and started playing and writing again. As we worked on and completed a handful of old songs from our vault, we also cranked out a batch of new ones. Then we hit the studio to document it all, bringing together parts of our past mixed with parts of our present.

As of now, this record is only available digitally. We hope you ENJOOOY!
